DR. HOANG THE ANH

Deputy Director

Hoang The Anh is a Senior Researcher with 25 years of experience studying China. He had held the position of Vice Director- General of the Institute of Chinese Studies at the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences for nearly ten years and the Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam's Chinese Studies Review for four and a half years.

He received his Bachelor's degree from Hanoi Foreign Language University in 1995 with majors in Chinese and English, a Master's in Social Sciences in 2001 in Nanhua University, Taiwan and a PhD in Sociology in 2005 from Sun Yat-sen University, China. Dr. Hoang The Anh specializes in China's economy, society, and development strategy, China's foreign policy and on Vietnam - China's relations.
